Hierarchical Selective Recruitment in Linear-Threshold Brain Networks Part II: Multilayer Dynamics and Top-Down Recruitment

چکیده
Goal-driven selective attention (GDSA) is a remarkable function that allows the complex dynamical networks of brain to support coherent perception and cognition. Part I this two-part article proposes new control-theoretic framework, termed hierarchical recruitment (HSR), rigorously explain emergence GDSA from brain's network structure dynamics. This part completes development HSR by deriving conditions on joint subnetworks guarantee top-down task-relevant each subnetwork at layer immediately above, while inhibiting activity task-irrelevant all layers. To further verify merit applicability we carry out comprehensive case study listening in rodents show small with HSR-based can data accuracy satisfying theoretical stability timescale separation requirements HSR. Our technical approach relies theory switched systems provides novel converse Lyapunov theorem for state-dependent affine independent interest.

E-recruitment in Iran
Abstract In recent years, the practice of using corporate websites to recruit job applicants has increased steadily. The aim of this paper is to review and analyze the E- recruitment in Iran. in this article, we examine e-recruitment situation in premier 100 Iranian organizations through websites content analysis. These top 100 organizations were introduced by the IMI in 1390. This ranking is ...
متن کاملRecruitment dynamics in adaptive social networks.
We model recruitment in adaptive social networks in the presence of birth and death processes. Recruitment is characterized by nodes changing their status to that of the recruiting class as a result of contact with recruiting nodes. Only a susceptible subset of nodes can be recruited. The recruiting individuals may adapt their connections in order to improve recruitment capabilities, thus chang...
متن کاملThe Dilemma of Physician Shortage and International Recruitment in Canada
The perception of physician shortage in Canada is widespread. Absolute shortages and relative discrepancies, both specialty-wise and in urban-rural distribution, have been a daunting policy challenge. International Medical Graduates (IMGs) have been at the core of mitigating this problem, especially as long as shortage of physicians in rural areas is concerned. Considering such recruitment as h...
متن کاملPart 2: Screening and Recruitment
Recruitment is always among the major challenges faced in a clinical trial. A wide variety of strategies must be used to ensure adequate enrollment of the study cohort. Recruitment for the Systolic Hypertension in the Elderly Program (SHEP) posed unique problems, so numerous strategies were developed for contacting and screening large numbers of older individuals. The older population is the mo...
